More Award-winning news!

After last month's win at the Open show I'm thrilled to report "Serenity" has gone on to win the People's Choice vote as well, and so I have been awarded a Solo Show to be held at the Alfred East Gallery in Kettering next autumn. What a year already! Here's a link to a local news article about the show and my wins (fame at last)

First Prize for Open Show

Great news - my pastel painting "Serenity" has won First Prize at the Northamptonshire Open 16 art show! There were over 250 entrants this year and the Private View evening was the busiest I've seen. (No pressure for collecting my award...!!)

Fundraising for Shibas

Last year I was able to donate a portrait slot for auction in aid of Japanese Shiba Inu Rescue in the UK, and the Welsh Air Ambulance. The auction took place recently and I'm happy to say my work managed to raise £300 towards an overall total of £1500! The winning bidder for the portrait was Nick White, and I recently completed his prize portrait featuring the handsome "Solo" the Shiba.
